Welcome, Students!
Introduction
Browsing through the library one day, you have been assigned by your grumpy English teacher to pick a book to read and write a report on for your class. Since you HAVE to read a book, you really want to pick something that is interesting to you and that you will enjoy reading.
The only problem is: WHAT kind of book are you going to enjoy? You know that you like reading things that are scary, or with a twist ending, but the way the library is organized (by GENRE), makes it difficult to figure out exactly where to go in order to find a book that you will enjoy reading.
In this WebQuest, you are going to be introduced to different literary genres, so that if you do indeed decide to read a book with a twist ending (perhaps a Mystery novel would be good for you?) or a scary plot (keep an eye out for Horror books!) then you will know where to look in the library and how to find out exactly what kind of book is right for you.
